OUR PHILOSOPHY

We started Janus in 2015 to focus on recruitment for a small number of firms with varied geographies, practices, and economics. The result is a national recruiting practice that’s resulted in partner-level placements from San Francisco to Miami to New York, across practices from IP to immigration to private equity, and with suburban boutique firms to international behemoths.

By focusing on several firms that we get to know very well, and with which we do a great deal of repeat business, we become trusted partners in those firms’ growth. This means we are able to provide prospective candidates with the best information possible and have genuine experience with how the firm works internally. In all cases, we strive to provide candidates with this information, plainly and unvarnished, and to be honest about what we do not know. We are members of NALSC and adhere strictly to its Code of Ethics.

As a firm, we have successfully fulfilled unique assignments such as recruitment of office and practice area leaders as well as lateral partners who are experienced very targeted, highly specialized areas of law.
